Research

Research in the College of Consumer and Family Sciences is recognized internationally for improving the quality of life for families and consumers.

Our research faculty are productive, placing CFS second among all colleges/schools at Purdue in grant dollars per faculty member ($202, 963).

Additionally, the college is leading Purdue's effort in the new Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI). The goal is to improve the process by which life science discoveries in the laboratory are transformed into new medical treatments and products.
