We invite you to consider helping
us achieve these special campaign needs by either increasing your
current levels of annual giving or making an outright gift, planned
gift, or a pledge commitment.
Outright gifts can include property and gifts-in-kind as well as
cash and appreciated securities. Deferred gifts can have significant
tax and planning benefits for you and your family. If you choose
to establish an endowment, your gift will be invested in perpetuity
and the annual income it generates will be used to support the University
needs you select.
There are so many ways
for you to contribute to the CFS campaign. For more information
on the campaign, including naming opportunities for our two new
buildings, please contact CFS Development at (800) 535-7303 or (765)
494-7890.
Private Giving Gets Boost from Federal Tax Law Change
A change in federal tax law offers advantages to alumni and friends considering a gift to Purdue University from a retirement account. The Pension Protection Act of 2006 allows donors to draw money from their traditional or Roth individual retirement accounts without the withdrawal being taxed as income. Visit the Office of Planned Giving Web site for details.
