Students who are in the process of selecting a major

Are you unsure of your major? Have you thought about seeing an advisor in the Center for Career Opportunities? They have trained career counselors that are available to assist you. The center is located in STEW 194. You may make an appointment by calling 494-3981.

Have you thought about taking an exploratory class at Purdue? GS 11900 is a one-credit course that describes various majors available at Purdue. Many departments have a 100-level class that would describe the program of studies and career opportunities available.

Have you talked to your friends about their majors? Are they excited about their classes and job opportunities? You may find that people such as friends, classmates, family friends, and/or parents may know about career possibilities that are of interest to you.

___ When you make your registration appointment, please make sure the receptionist knows you are in the process of selecting a major. Stop by STON 110 or call 494-8533 to make your appointment.

___ Bring any thoughts that you may have about majors and careers to your registration appointment.

___ Before your registration appointment, be sure to review the Schedule of Classes on myPurdue for possible courses and available times.
