Private
giving helps ensure that the College of Consumer and Family Sciences
continues to rank among the best schools of its kind in the nation.
Private gifts allow the college to do a variety of things that it
might not be able to do otherwise. Gifts can be used to fund programs,
scholarships, fellowships, professorships, research, renovations,
and new facilities.
Gifts of all shapes and
sizes are welcome. Every gift, no matter how large or small, makes
an impact on our college. You may even choose to designate your
gift for a specific purpose or department.

The Pension Protection Act of 2006, which took effect in August, allows donors to draw as much as $100,000 in 2006 and 2007 from their traditional or Roth individual retirement accounts without the withdrawal being taxed as income.
