Review and Secondary Analysis of the 1999 Permanent Change of Station Cost Survey

In December 2000, the DoD asked the MFRI team to review the 1999 Permanent Change of Station Cost (PCS) Survey and Final Report. In addition, we were asked to make recommendations for secondary analysis and changes to the existing survey.

To date, we have reviewed the Survey and Report and created a codebook of the PCS data set. In addition, we have developed a set of new questions that can be answered through secondary analysis and have thought of several issues that we see as key for future surveys regarding PCS costs.
