There are three active student organizations for F&N
majors. The organizations sponsor presentations, workshops,
and activities focused on foods and nutrition issues.

Foods and Nutrition Society is an association of students
interested in foods and nutrition. Club meetings feature
speakers highlighting topics and professions in nutrition,
fitness, overall health, and the food industry.
Food Science Club
is for students majoring in food science or closely related
areas. The club helps develop leadership in students through
planning and sponsoring conferences. Profits from fund-raising
projects allow students to take educational field trips.
Gerontology Student Organization disseminates information
between students interested in gerontology (graduate and
undergraduate) and faculty associated with the gerontology
minor at Purdue.
