
Camp Calcium
Camp Calcium 2010 is a summer camp designed to study calcium metabolism in adolescents. There will be two sections of the camp that will occurr at the same time.
- Section 1 is designed to determine calcium requirements for Mexican-American adolescents. Funding for this section is being provided by the National Institutes of Health.
- Section 2 is designed to determine the effect of a specific fiber on calcium absorption in white and Hispanic adolescents. Funding for this section is being provided by Tate and Lyle, a food ingredient company.
