Originating as a student project in the F&N 530 course (Public Health Nutrition) under the direction of Dr. Amy Mobley, four new nutrition education fact sheets have now been posted for public use.
Undergraduate students in F&N 530 were assigned a task to develop an educational fact sheet for the public to eventually be adapted for Extension education. In partnership with CFS Purdue Cooperative Extension, an internal and external expert review process was coordinated by Laura Palmer, Purdue Extension Nutrition Specialist, and then formatted and edited by Agricultural Communications for consistent style.
Additional fact sheets will be gradually added over time to create a series of fact sheets and future topic areas will include the F&N department’s signature research areas.
