Elizabeth Kiss assists in the development and delivery of a statewide Cooperative Extension program in family resource management, with emphasis on financial management. She supports the work of Extension educators across the state, and especially the 23 Extension educators specializing in family resource management, by providing linkages to current research, educational resources, and statewide and national organizations. Developing the financial literacy of youth, improving financial management skills of adults, and enhancing the marketplace know-how of consumers of all ages are primary areas of focus.
Elizabeth holds bachelor's degrees in foods in business and history and MS and PhD degrees in family and consumption economics. Her degrees were awarded by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Iowa State University.
