About the website
This website is intended for the "Purdue family". If you are an entrepreneur or a student with a connection to Purdue, own a family business, graduated from Purdue, or are a current Purdue student, this website is for you.

This website has been developed with funds from the Coleman Foundation of Chicago. The Foundation supports entrepreneurship in many ways and has been generous in supporting programs at Purdue Calumet and at the main campus in West Lafayette.

About the Initiative
The Initiative in Family Business serves as the coordinating body for family business teaching, research and continuing education in the
School of Consumer and Family Sciences. The Initiative was begun in 1997 to develop ways to serve the Purdue family, in particular those who own and operate family businesses, and those students at Purdue who may one day work in a family business.
