Configuring Outlook on Your Desktop
This is how you configure your Outlook email on your CFS desktop.
- Click on the “Start” button
- Select “Settings”
- Click “Control Panel”
- Double Click “Mail”
- Click on “Show Profiles” button
- Click on the “Add” button
- Enter a profile name (e.g. your login name)
- Click “OK”
- Choose “Add a new email account”
- Click “NEXT >”
- Choose “Microsoft Exchange Server”
- Click “NEXT >”
- For “Microsoft Exchange Server:”, enter: exchange.purdue.edu
- For “User Name:”, enter: "your account login"
- Click “NEXT >”
- Click “FINISH”
- Select “Always use this profile” and make sure the profile you just created appears in the box.
- Click “OK”
When logging in enter your user name immediately after ‘ONEPURDUE\’ (e.g. ONEPURDUE\riska).
Accessing Outlook From the Internet
- Go to: http://exchange.purdue.edu
When logging in enter your user name immediately after ‘ONEPURDUE\’ (e.g. ONEPURDUE\riska).
