2009 Mcallister Fellowship Application

Funding

Thanks to gifts from individuals and organizations, the Center for Families is able to offer fellowships and internships to support Purdue University graduate students and faculty as they generate new insights and tools that can help families. Applications are submitted during the spring semester; awards begin in the summer or fall semester each year.

Faculty Fellowships
The center offers two faculty fellowships, the Kontos and Hancook awards.

Student Fellowships
Two graduate fellowships are available from the center, the McAllister and Van Scoyoc.

Student Internships
The center offers two internships. The graduate internship focusing on family policy and assisting with the annual Family Impact Seminar is available for the summer semester. The other internship, available any semester, is open to graduate and undergraduate students interested in hands-on experience conducting research with families and/or children.
