Child and Family Studies in India

July/August 2010 (exact date to be determined)

Are you interested in studying abroad during summer 2010? If so, look into the dynamic country of India. Our study abroad trip to India will explore the Indian states of Delhi and Gujarat, as well as the cities of Baroda/Vadodara, Anand, and Ahmadabad.

This approximately 3-1/2 week program provides a true focus on India's culture. The program's main objective is to expose you to incredible and intriguing India. This study abroad course will show students how the people, places, education, history, and future plans all play a part in the multifaceted and fascinating culture of India. The program's focus is on children and families since these relationships support behaviors, cuisine, clothing, education, and religious choices. Therefore, Indian culture is reflected in everything from buildings to traffic rules. Students on this trip are encouraged to choose their area of study to earn anywhere from 3-6 credits!
