CFS Dean's Student Advisory Panel

The CFS Dean’s Student Advisory Panel advises the dean on policies, procedures, and programs affecting undergraduate students in the college, such as:

  • new initiatives
  • student activities and support services
  • study abroad
  • learning communities
  • service learning
  • coursework
  • preparation for college
  • future goals for the college
  • policies (grade grievance policy, attendance policy, etc.)

Comprised of nine undergraduate students, the panel will meet twice during the fall and spring semesters with the CFS dean. Panel members are also invited to attend special events and activities at the invitation of the dean.

Membership

  • Applicants must be nominated by a CFS student organization of which they are a current member.
  • Applicants must have been enrolled as a full-time student in CFS for at least two semesters
  • Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
