Academics

The College of Consumer and Family Sciences is committed to providing an environment that promotes creativity and fosters success for those who work and learn here. Within CFS, we have a group of incredibly talented people — faculty who are leaders in research and standouts in the classroom, staff who are talented and personable, and students who are bright and motivated.

Our four academic departments offer 14 undergraduate majors as well as graduate programs at the master’s and doctoral levels.

The CFS Competency Areas ensure that students receive a well-rounded education — one that not only prepares them to be successful in their chosen careers but also prepares them to contribute to society, lead fulfilling and productive lives, and value diversity.
