Admission Requirements
Graduate admission is granted to a specific department and for a specific campus, and is through the Purdue Graduate School.
Applicants ordinarily will be expected to hold baccalaureate degrees from colleges or universities of recognized standing prior to registration as graduate students. Applicants for a master's or doctoral degree program should have achieved a 3.0 grade point index or higher for the baccalaureate degree or have other academic indices indicating superior performance.
Graduate programs in the College of Consumer and Family Sciences can have different deadlines and some may have additional admissions requirements. Review the specific requirements, instructions, and deadlines for graduate programs in the following departments:
- Child Development and Family Studies
- Consumer Sciences and Retailing
- Foods and Nutrition
- Hospitality and Tourism Management
