What is Consumer and Family Sciences?
In simplest terms, the college prepares students for careers that involve helping people — whether it's working as a preschool teacher, hospital dietitian, financial specialist, or hotel manager.
Our research is applied and goes hand-in-hand with our engagement activities, which are focused on solving the real challenges people face every day — things like eating better, living healthier, finding quality child care, being better parents, reducing family debt, planning for retirement, and balancing work with family.
