Norma H. Compton Outstanding Doctoral Student Award
The Compton Outstanding Doctoral Student Award was created by faculty and friends of the college to recognize the contributions of Norma H. Compton, dean of the College of Consumer and Family Sciences from 1973 to 1987. The annual award recognizes a student who has exhibited outstanding ability in scholarly activities, service to his/her department and to the college, and promise for a productive career in his/her field. The winner receives a $1,000 cash award.
