How Do We Use the Information You Share with Us?

How do we use information you share with us when you enroll in the ITSI Network?

ITSI collects some personal and professional information from Network members when they first enroll in the Network. (See the ITSI online enrollment form at "Join ITSI Now" for the exact information we request from you.) We WILL use this information to contact you about professional development opportunities we think may be of interest to ITSI members. We WILL share summarized group information (NOT individual member information) with our funders, the Indiana Child Care Bureau and the Indiana Association for the Education of Young Children. The purpose of sharing these group summaries is to describe who ITSI serves. We will NOT share your name, contact information, or any other personal or professional information with any other organizations or business. We do NOT sell our member lists to any commercial or non-commercial organizations.

If you choose to join the ITSI Discussion Forum Listserv, please realize that this is an open access email-based discussion forum. ITSI does not have control over individuals who join or monitor this email list. ITSI cannot be responsible for the veracity of information posted on the email list, not is ITSI liable for any damage that may result from your email postings or those other participants. Therefore, ITSI members must use caution when deciding what information to share with all others on the list. Do not share information that may incriminate or result in damage if it becomes widely known. We recommend that you do not share personal or specific contact information with the entire list. If you wish to share information with a particular member, you may wish to reply directly to that member's email address, rather than using "Reply" or "Reply All," which will result in your message returning to all list members.

Welcome to the ITSI@lists.purdue.edu mailing list! The purpose of the ITSI Discussion Forum Listserv is to provide infant-toddler specialists a channel for free discussion, resource sharing, and professional networking.

Here the VOLUNTARY guidelines all ITSI Discussion Listserv members receive when they enroll in the listserv:

1. When sending a message or replying to an individual's message, please make sure your message is not aimed at a single individual only, but is of general interest to the mailing list. Please send emails intended for an individual by private email to that person, using their individual email address (found in the FROM field of their message.)
2. Foul or abusive language is not permitted and will result in automatic dis-enrollment from the list.
3. Please do not send chain letters to the list.
4. Promotion of commercial products or services for individual or corporate profit is not permitted.
