Darden Series: Executives in the Classroom

The Darden Series is a forum that brings industry leaders into the classroom to give students a sense of industry trends, where the industry is headed, and what students need to know for success. Visiting executives share their experiences and knowledge of the industry, bringing the student's textbook material to life.

The HTM Unit Series is open to the public. It provides an excellent opportunity for others from the campus and local communities to learn from these industry leaders.

Students are welcome to attend the presentations, serve as an escort, and join presenters for a meal. If you are interested in personally meeting these executives during their visit, please contact Rhonda Hostetter at rhostett@purdue.edu

The unit is thankful for the generous gift received from the Darden Restaurant Foundation in 2002, which facilitates the executive forum. Consistent with the missions of both Darden and Purdue, the Darden Series is a gathering place for reciprocal idea generation between the business and academic communities.
