BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Pearson is a full professor specializing in the areas of business analysis and corporate development. He has experience in lodge operations and accross the foods industries.

His work in the creation and analysis of business, and the development of management personnel, has taken him throughout the U.S., Europe, and the Far East. For the last 20 years, he has spent a great deal of time in China teaching and working with hotel companies in the development of the tourism industries.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Corporate planning and development in foods and lodging related industries. This interest included the development of operations analysis techniques, and the development of human resource systems. Other current research interests include:

  • Graduate Research Activity, as an active graduate student mentor Dr. Pearson has been major professor or active contributor for over 40 PhD students, and over 100 MS students

  • Clients have included restaurants and hotels, health care facilities,
    universities, food product companies, governmental units, 1973- present (This service has included assignments throughout the U.S., Western Europe, Eastern Europe, and the People's Republic of China). At least two major clients have been serviced annually.
