F&N graduate student, Eileen Weinheimer, is one of three students selected as trainees for a new National Institute on Aging Program
John Apolzan received the 2009 Norma Compton Outstanding Student Award. His faculty advisor is Wayne Campbell.
Mary-Jon Ludy, graduate student, received the Foods and Nutrition Graduate Student Teaching Assistant Award for 2009.
The winner of the 2009 INP Poster Session competition is Heather White, "Regulation of Pyruvate Carboxylase Promoters by Environmental and Nutritional Cues."
Tom DeLuca,"Computational Prediction of an NACH-Binding Site in Sphingomyelinase," was the runner up. TusaRebecca Schap, "Adolescents' Ability to Correctly Identify Foods up to 14 Hours Postprandial when Prompted by an Image of a Meal," and Bethany Six, "Interaction of a Mobile Phone Food Record for Adolescents", received honorable mentions.
