The Department of Foods and Nutrition is located in Stone
Hall on Purdue's West Lafayette campus. The main office is
on the second floor of Stone, with additional offices on
the ground floor. Research
laboratories and centers are in
Stone Hall, Matthews Hall, and Smith Hall. Our animal facility
includes a transgenic animal section.
All foods and nutrition teaching labs are on the second
floor of Stone. Our food chemistry laboratory has industry-standard
equipment and the introductory foods laboratory was renovated
in summer 2003. The sensory laboratory and metabolic kitchen
have dual function with research and teaching.
