2008 Show Information | 2006 Fashion Show | 2005 Fashion Show | Silhouette Gazette
Our Apparel Design students created a number of “firsts” for their spring 2008 fashion show. This was our first year to present the fashion show at the Ross-Ade Pavilion. We felt empowered by our surroundings and very excited to produce this show on the Purdue University campus. This was our second year to produce two shows, but this was the first year to present all of the senior collections at both shows. Our seniors worked very hard on their collections and were thrilled about presenting their collections on two stages in one venue. The Shively Room allowed us to layout a north stage and south stage for the first time. Both ends of this room had continuous action occurring throughout the runway show. Our Models and Choreography Team faced the challenges to manage two backstage locations for the first time. This was the first year that our senior designers exhibited more of their creative art. Each student showcased her/his presentation case and other items of creative design.
Over 1,300 people were in attendance to enjoy our fashion show. There were scholarships and awards presented to the Apparel Design Students. Our winners were:
