Honors Program

An honors program is offered for eligible students who wish to work with a faculty member on a research or program development project. Participants graduate with honors and receive special recognition on their diploma and transcript. Students participate in seminars for honors students, and develop, carry out, and present the results of a research project under the direction of a professor.

For complete details including eligibility and how to apply, visit the CFS Honors Program.

CDFS Honors Projects

  • Teachers' roles in early childhood classrooms
  • Parental beliefs and behaviors associated with children's school readiness
  • Family socialization of religious beliefs and values
  • Factors associated with the longevity of long-distance dating relationships in college
  • Victimization and college adjustment
