Construction Begins!
Work is underway on Hanley Hall, the future home of the Department of Child Development and Family Studies and the Child Development Laboratory Preschool. The building and the new CDL playground are slated for completion in 2011. We will watch with interest all of the construction activities west of Fowler House! MCLC children, parents, and teachers are being very generous, sharing their playing and learning space with our own "Bob the Builders."

Welcome to the Ben & Maxine Miller Child Learning Center, named after longtime Purdue supporters who generously contributed to both the Center and the new Purdue Human Development Institute. (See news release, here .) We welcome young children from 6 weeks to 5 years old, their families, Purdue students and faculty, child and family researchers, and community visitors. The Miller Child Learning Center is open year-round, from 7:30 to 5:30, Monday through Friday. Enjoy exploring this site and please come to visit the Center in person when you have the time.

Mission
The Ben and Maxine Miller Child Learning Center at Purdue University is a place where young children and families learn and grow. Actively engaging the world around them, each day children, teachers, parents, researchers, and university students play and work together, creating a safe, loving community of discovery.
